Every project starts with a good design. For me, this means weaving client needs and personal style into a plan that is within budget, functional, and able to be implemented.
Planning begins once I have visited the site, met the stakeholders and discussed ideas and budget constraints. I work with you closely to develop a project brief before providing you with a detailed design fee proposal. This will outline the time (and cost) required to produce drawings reflective of your brief.
I then produce an overall 'concept' drawing (examples may be viewed by clicking here). From there, I move on to scale drawings, construction details and an initial budget.
In construction, my team and I aim to make your life easy by expanding our in-house skills and coordinating specialist trades where necessary. We keep diverse trade contacts and have built relationships with multi-disciplinary professionals; so If it's outside we can do it!
In trusting JB Landscaping to continue your project through the construction stage, you can be assured all of the details that make a project come to life, will be fully resolved by the person who designed it. I personally meet and oversee hardscape works such as: patios, pools, architectural walls, gates etc. I personally select and tag softscape materials and plant stock to ensure it will have the right form and shape for the space. For me, the design process does not end with the plans and budgets being approved, rather, I see equal importance in the ability to tie all of the designed elements together in implementation.
With your trust and our hard work we can create a beautiful space that enhances your lifestyle and exceeds expectations.
Waterproofing and drainage are essential to a successful rooftop garden. The system we employed at this Peppermint Grove project uses seven product layers to ensure that not only is the garage below is protected from water damage; but also that we achieve a flourishing garden above!
